Personal ]
My research interests are in the general area of computer networks and
distributed systems, Internet measurements, modeling and performance
analysis, security informatics, and wireless/mobile networking.
Special topics include: Internet routing and traffic engineering,
network management, anomaly detection, overlay-/P2P systems, real-time
streaming over wireless, and opportunistic networking.
My research goal is to develop techniques, architectures and/or
protocols to provide predictable performance (both end-to-end and
system-level) and to support new, flexible network services in
heterogeneous networks. The key design rationale is often motivated by
real measurements and analysis of deployed networking systems.
