I am a PhD candidate in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of California, Davis under the supervision of prof. John D. Owens . My research interests involve research topics in parallel computing, geometry processing, and computer graphics. Currently, I am working on developing dynamic mesh data-structure that supports both queries and updates operations on the GPU.

I interned in Autodesk Research in Toronto, Canada from June to December 2019 where I worked on accelerating multi-GPU conjugate gradient solver. I had a summer research internship in Visual Computing Research Center in Shenzhen University, China during summer 2018 and was supervised by prof. Hui Huang. During this period, I worked on developing outdoor autonomous robot exploration technique using ideas from computer graphics. In Summer 2017, I worked on speeding up the GPU parallel computation of special kind of sparse matrix multiplication used in Trilinos package.

I received my B.Sc from Alexandria University, Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture Department, June 2013. After one year in conscription, I was appointed as research assistant in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture Department since I was ranked the first during my undergraduate studies. I worked there from December 2014 to March 2016 before moving to UD Davis.
