A Note to Prospective Students

Due to the volume of email I receive from interested students, I've decided to formalize the inquiry process by requesting that you do the following:

  1. I encourage you to submit your application to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. More details on the application process are available at http://www.ece.ucdavis.edu/Grads/admissions.html
  2. If you have an especially strong academic record and you feel your background and interests are a good match with my research directions, feel free to contact me and include a copy of your resume (PDF or text only), a list of relevant course work (including the title of the course textbook and your final grade), and a paragraph describing a specific project which you might be interested in pursuing distinct from my current research. Please indicate in your email that you are a prospective student by including the phrase "Prospective UCD ECE Student" in the subject line. I ask you for your patience, but I will return your email as soon as I can.
