INano group has an outreach program with the BayTech School, Oakland, California under the sponsorship of National Science Foundation. The goal of this program is to mentor young students and motivate them towards science and technology with a clear vision to seed future leaders in science and engineering. Currently, two 8th graders- Said Mentese and Jacquse Wyatt from the BayTech School work with INano. Simple and interesting projects are designed for them so that they enjoy the time at UC Davis. We believe, this initiative is a step to create a platform for the future generation who will take the challenge of many unsolved issues in science and engineering and will be the future scientific leaders in the world.
