Research Interest

1. Stochastic optimization theory including multi-armed bandit problems, distributed learning and decision making, statistical analysis, game-theoretic approaches, Markov decision processes, machine learning.

2. Applications of stochastic optimization theory in complex systems including dynamic spectrum access via cognitive radio, target tracking/collecting in multi-agent systems, cyber security, energy distribution networks (smart grid), Web search and Internet advertising, social economical networks, bio/chemical process control systems.

2. Detection, estimation and signal processing in wireless sensor networks.
