I recently moved to Davis, CA, located about 1 hour Northeast of San Francisco. In my free time I play the drums and go running, which luckily requires a lot less coordination than other sports. I co-founded a mobile software development company called KS Games which my old roommate Anu and I work on fairly regularly.
I grew up in Vermont, moved to beautiful Troy, New York for 4 years to earn my BS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from RPI, then Moved to Folsom, CA to work for Intel for 1.5 years before moving to UC Davis for grad school. I'm currently interning at NVIDIA in the hardware group. I also had the great opportunity to study in Singapore for 5 months of my undergraduate degree. I've traveled through most of Southeast Asia as well as New Zealand, where I tricked myself into going bungy jumping for the first time. I also took six years of French, but haven't used it lately, so I'm pretty rusty. I'm trying to teach myself Mandarin now using Rosetta Stone.
There are only a handful of sources of true randomness in the world. One is my shower knob. No matter which way you turn it, the water only gets colder.
For some unknown reason, there's a limitless number of yogurt shops in Davis.
I'm still the only person in Davis that doesn't own a bike. Incidentally, I'm probably also the only person in Davis with a quarter-sized hole in his right shoe sole. UPDATE: I now own a bike and new shoes :)
