Coming from the Bay Area or places west

Here is a High level map to get you to campus on I-80. It is generally best to take 680 from the South Bay and 80 from San Francisco.
From 80 east/north, exit at the UC Davis exit, and turn left under the freeway on Old Davis Road.
Pass the information booth and turn left at the first street, California Ave.
Immediately after the bridge over Putah Creek, turn left on La Rue Road.
Turn right at the first street, Bioletti Way.
Follow the Once on Bioletti Way directions below.

Coming from Sacramento or places east

Here is a High level map to get you to campus on I-80.
From I-80 west, exit at the UC Davis exit (first exit after Richards Blvd), and turn right at the end of the freeway offramp onto Old Davis Road.
Pass the information booth and turn left at the first street, California Ave.
Immediately after the bridge over Putah Creek, turn left on La Rue Road.
Turn right at the first street, Bioletti Way.

Coming from Sacramento Airport (SMF) or places north

Here is a High level map to get you to campus. There are two ways to transition from I-5 to 113 in Woodland: 1) exit I-5 at Main Street and take it to 113 after 1/4 mile, which is a little quicker, but you should watch carefully for the 113 on-ramp--the sign is small, or 2) exit I-5 at Road 102 and then take Gibson Road to 113.
Take 113 south to Davis, exit at Hutchison Drive, and turn left over the freeway.
Follow Hutchison until the second signal light and turn right on La Rue Road.
After La Rue Road curves to the left, you will pass a large parking lot on your left (VP47). At the end of the parking lot, turn left on Bioletti Way.

Once on Bioletti Way

Here is a zoom-able campus map showing Kemper Hall in relation to parking lots P44 (it is across the street from Kemper but for some reason does not show up labeled in the map) and VP47 (corner of La Rue and Bioletti).

After turning on Bioletti Way, the first parking lot on your right is P44. Park there.
Kemper Hall is across Bainer Hall Drive to the north.
Kemper is shaped like a "U". Dr. Baas' office is in Room 2037 in the wing to the right (east) as you face the building from P44. The 2211 and 2201 labs are in the wing to the left (west). All are on the second floor. (However, the second floor in the west wing is higher than the second floor in the rest of the building due to the MicroFab in the first floor.) Enter Kemper either through the back lobby entrance in the central courtyard, or through the doors in the right wing.
Look for maps of offices throughout Kemper in the hallways to guide you to 2037.
Parking permits. There are basically 4 options:
1. Pay approximately $6 for a day permit at one of the machines in either the P44 or VP47 parking lots. They accept credit cards.
2. Find a parking meter. There may be open spots on Bioletti near Hutchison (unfortunately you must drive on Dairy or LaRue to get there) or by the Silo.
3. Park in the "15 minute" space in P44 if it is open.
4. Park without a permit and take your chances. Rumor has it that after 4pm your chances of getting a ticket are extremely small.
