Student CD

The CD included with the text includes: the PSPICE program; simulation files for every example or exercise in the text that uses PSPICE, Excel, Mathematica or Matlab; Answers to selected problems; Appendix C; Appendix D; Companion material for Chapters 7, 9 and 10; and an index to all of the PSPICE files that enables you to find the files that demonstrate how to perform a particular type of simulation (e.g., if you want to know how to use PSPICE to find the input impedance of an amplifier). These files are also available for download using the links provided below.

Be sure to read the readme-first.txt file on the CD before doing your installation. Also read the README.WRI file and, if you have trouble, the trouble.wri file.

If you have lost this CD, you may use the CD image provided here(Warning! This image is 326MB) to make a new one. You will need to have software on your computer that enables you to write a CD from an ISO image. That software is available from the MSDN website. One package that is known to work well is available from Alex Feinman. Also, there is a pdf file within the documentation folder on this CD (called "DOC") that is damaged. The file is called APPNTS.PDF and an undamaged copy is available here.
