Computing Facilities
The Systems, Control, and Robotics Laboratory
computing facilities consist of:
- Five HP 9000 Model 715 workstations.
- Two Apple Macintosh workstations with scanner.
- Six general purpose IBM personal computers with Borland C++ compiler.
- A complete multiprocessing system based on Intel 486 and 386
microprocessors and the Multibus II architecture donated by Intel.
- The MatrixX package for system modeling and control system development
donated by Integrated Systems, Inc.
- An Integrated Systems, Inc. AC-100 controller with integrated development
system.
The laboratory computers are connected to the campus Ethernet, allowing
communication with other
departmental
and campus computers as well as the Internet.
