ECE FACULTY OPENINGS



The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Davis is seeking applications for two faculty positions: 1) a tenure track assistant professor in physical electronics whose research is focused on novel materials, structures and devices, particularly using nanoscale, molecular and self-assembled approaches; 2) an assistant, associate or full professor whose research combines a key aspect of biology with a core area of electrical and computer engineering having a strong experimental emphasis, particularly in physical electronics or RF/optical components. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent, a commitment to teaching and service and a potential for attracting significant extramural research support. For full consideration, applicants should apply by February 6, 2009. The positions remain open until filled.
