Professor Erkİn Şeker Receives $1.3M Award from UC Office of Research

Professor Erkİn Şeker is the PI on a $1.3M UC Lab Fees award in collaboration with Dr. Monika Biener at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. The project titled "Tunable nanoporous metals for advanced biosensor platforms" will develop miniaturized cell-based sensors that utilize nanostructured electrode-neuron combinations for the detection and identification of neurotoxins.
