Professor Anh-Vu Pham Chosen for 2008 IEEE MTT-S Outstanding Young Engineer Award

Professor Anh-Vu Pham has been named as the recipient of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Outstanding Young Engineer Award.

Prof. Pham is being recognized for his contributions to the development of microwave and millimeter wave organic packages, components, and multi-chip modules. He will receive this award at the annual IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium, to be held in June 2008 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) is a transnational society with more than 9,000 members and 80 chapters worldwide. The society promotes the advancement of microwave theory and its applications, including RF, microwave, millimeter-wave, and terahertz technologies.
