The 2000 NATCAR final race used the longest and most difficult course ever.  It was 312 feet long and very tough!

The small video clip at top left is of the car built by UC Berkley team number four.  Although it used a constant speed motor control, it performed impressively and went on to capture first place with an average speed of 9.82 feet per second.

Rounding out the top three finishers were the car built by UC Davis' team number three in second place (shown at right) and the car built by UC Davis' team number four in third place (shown at bottom).
