Faculty Position in Micro/Nano Device Fabrication and Integration
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Davis invites applications for a faculty position beginning July 2018. The opening targets candidates with outstanding credentials at any faculty rank. Qualified candidates in areas of Electrical and Computer Engineering (http://www.ece.ucdavis.edu/research/) exploiting micro/nano device fabrication and integration technologies will be priority areas of consideration, for instance, including but not limited to optoelectronics, physical electronics, heterogeneous (e.g. photonic, electronic, MEMS/NEMS, bio-electronic, energy conversion) integration, and photonic integrated circuits. We are searching for innovative and collaborative researchers and educators who will contribute in one or more of our department’s strong research areas. Preferences will be given to those who plan to conduct research using the newly renovated nanofabrication lab (Center for Nano and Micro Manufacturing – CNM2). Candidates must have a Ph.D., a research record of high distinction, a demonstrated commitment to teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, a strong commitment to service, and a track record or potential for attracting significant extramural research support.
