Teaching Assistant Information

A call for TA positions is sent out the middle of each quarter via email to current ECE graduate students. Keep an eye on your inbox for TA requests.

Important Reminders

All TA's must take EEC390 once (it is ONLY offered in the Fall!).
EEC390, Teaching Electrical Engineering, 1 unit,
EEC396, Teaching Assistant Training Practicum, 1-4 units, is open to all teaching assistants (CRN will be sent to TAs after they have accepted a position)
TA course-unit limits:
- 25% TA: 2 units of combined EEC390 and EEC396.
- 50% TA: 4 units of combined EEC390 and EEC396.
All international TAs are required to take the SPEAK test. You must sign up for the exam in person at 17 Wellman Hall.
