Speaker: Smita Bakshi
CEO, Zyante

Host: Professor Bevan Baas

Abstract:

Education is undergoing dramatic and long-overdue change, much of it spurred by the innovative use of technology. Come and hear about the ed tech landscape (Khad Academy, Coursera, LMS systems and so on) and why fundamentally technology can enable more effective and efficient teaching and learning. If you were a freshman and could do it all over again, how would you like to use technology? We'll also work through some specific engineering topics and discuss interactive, animated ways of teaching concepts.
