DMRC Review Meeting
We are pleased to announce the inauguration of the Davis Millimeter Wave Research Center which will be formally celebrated at our first review meeting scheduled on Thursday, October 21st, 2010. The DMRC is broadly focused on fostering millimeter wave and THz technology for wireless communications, radar, sensing, and imaging systems. The activities in the DMRC range from devices, integrated circuits, components and packaging, sub-systems to system implementation.
The opening address and welcome will be given by our Chancellor, Linda Katehi, who is also a member of the Center. As part of the review, we are planning to have two 45-minute keynote presentations from industry and government executives to obtain a perspective on trends and opportunities. We will also have student and staff presentations, lab tours and an industry advisory board meeting. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting.
