EEC10 - Introduction to Digital and Analog Systems

3 units - Spring Quarters

Laboratory: 3 hours

Prerequisite: Restricted to EE and CE majors. ENG 6 or MAT 22AL, ECS 30, PHY 9B, PHY 9C and ENG 17 (concurrent enrollment in ENG 17 allowed).

Consent of Instructor: Required. The course will be offered to predetermined number of students selected by instructor from an applicant pool at the end of pass one registration. Selection will be based on cumulative GPA and academic performance in prerequisties completed.

Grading: Letter; Based on: Eight Labs (70%), Mini Project (30%)

Catalog Description: An interactive and practical introduction to fundamental concepts of electrical and computer engineering by implementing electronic systems, which can be digitally controlled and interrogated, with a programmable microcontroller with the ability to program the electrical connections between analog and digital components.
