A CMOS Inverter Example
This example describes the DC Voltage transfer characterisc of a CMOS inverter gate.
Consider the following schematic of a CMOS inverter:
You should first label the nodes on your circuit, as shown in the figure above, before writing the equivalent HSPICE representation of the circuit.
After running hspice, you can see the plot of the DC analysis with the help of the graphical postprocessor "cscope". The file created by HSPICE during the DC analysis has a termination .sw*
