The course covers various electrical and computer engineering standards and realistic design constraints including economic, manufacturability, sustainability, ethical, health and safety, environmental, social, and political.

Expanded Course Description:

This course will discuss impacts of electrical and computer engineering design, including the following considerations:

  1. Economic Issues
  2. Ethical Issues
  3. Sustainability
  4. Health and Safety
  5. Manufacturability
  6. Environmental Issues
  7. Societal Impacts
  8. Political Examples of the impact and interaction of electrical and computer engineering design with these various issues will be presented.
